I am a takeout guy. So I can’t speak to dining in. Although people always look happy when I’m there! Pizza is my favorite in the area. And just as good...or better...the garlic knots and cheesy garlic knots!!!

We ordered a Mob Boss cheese pizza... the biggest pizza my family had ever seen. It was delicious and we didn’t have to wait for a long time to receive it. The atmosphere is great and everything was clean!

JoJo Pizza is one of those mom and pop pizza shops where it's kind of a tossup on whether or not you're going to get food poisoning or are about to have the best pizza of your life. In my humble experience, it has always been the latter. We've made it a tradition to come here during graduation season at Liberty and Lynchburg College because Lynchburg gets absolutely slammed by an influx of students and families who always flock downtown or to the restaurants closer to the universities. JoJo's is kind of a hole in the wall and typically the only people we see there are locals, which is a nice breath of fresh air. The restaurant itself isn't anything fancy. You get your salad on a paper plate (not a joke), you order drinks by the 2-liter and there's Italian memorabilia all over the wall. It's authentic, no-frills and fantastic. If you come here, get the pizza. Period. End of story. There are a few other options on the menu, but when you stray out of JoJo's specialities, you're straying into some dangerous waters. I recommend that you order their largest pizza (literally 28 inches) and stick to simple ingredients (cheese, pepperoni, etc.) You won't be disappointed. The pizza is great. It's cooked fresh, it's enormous and it's quite tasty. The sauce has a herby taste, the crust is thick and crunchy, there's plenty of cheese and a generous amount of toppings included. Plus, the sheer amount of food you get is well worth what you spend on it. You'll have enough pizza for a couple days. The staff is also incredibly friendly, casual and accommodating. You wouldn't expect anything else from a place called JoJo's, but it's still a fun experience. Overall, if you're looking for a pie that's different than Dominoes or Papa Johns, I definitely recommend it.
Fantastic hole-in-the-wall pizza joint. The calzone size was outrageous, stuffed full of excellent cheeses and the sweet chili wings were dope. Really hit the spot! ...But even beyond that, the staff was awesome. Everyone was warm, welcoming and friendly. And when I was leaving the staff offered to give me a ride back to my lodging when they learned I had walked there! They didn't have to but did out of nowhere! How kind!!! Absolutely 5 stars just for that act of kindness. You don't find that kind of thing anymore. Thanks for making my first night in Lynchburg a special memory!

Great pizza in Lynchburg. Stopped at a great pizza joint near one of my digital billboards in Lynchburg, and had a couple of great slices. Definitely recommend this place to locals, and visitors.
